CONDITIONS OF BOOKING (HOLIDAY HOMES)
A DEPOSIT OF £100 per holiday home per week or part
week is to be paid at the time of booking, and the balance 56 CLEAR
DAYS before the holiday begins. An official acknowledgement will
be sent within 10 days for each deposit and no booking exists until
this has been received.
All Bookings are from 4pm on day of arrival. All accommodation must
be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Guests undertake to
keep the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition, and so to
leave it at the expiration of the occupation. A returnable bond
of £20 will be charged at the time your balance payment is
due, to cover the safe return of your accommodation key and that
the accommodation be left in a satisfactory state of cleanliness
and repair. Your accommodation will be checked on your day of departure
and your £20 bond will be refunded within 7 days, subject
to conditions herein. Please note that your bond will have to be
paid by either credit card or debit card and that cash or cheques
will not be accepted.
Please note that the latest arrival time is strictly 10pm. Admittance
into your holiday home after this time will not be allowed and no
refund will be issued for any unused stay.
The company shall not be liable to any guests/visitors (including
those under the age of 18) for any personal injury, loss of, or
damage to property, including motor vehicles, motorcycles, etc.,
however caused or sustained, be it by the management, staff or other
guests.
The number of persons, including children, occupying the accommodation
must not exceed the stated number of berths as shown on the tariff
details. The person(s) hiring the accommodation shall be exactly
as stated. After a booking has been accepted, any request for an
alteration must be made in writing and accompanied by the booking
confirmation. Unless permission for alteration has been given by
the management in writing, the accommodation shall be used only
by the persons listed on the booking form. Bookings are not transferable.
A security bond will be charged for ALL non-family bookings and
these bookings can only be taken at the managements discretion.
The management reserves the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate
the visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the holiday
centre or the comfort of other guests.
Damage to the accommodation or equipment must be reported to the
management at once and replaced or repaired to their satisfaction
before leaving.
Some facilities will be limited to the high season. Modifications
and improvements to accommodation and park facilities are being
carried out continuously which may result in slight changes in the
facilities shown in the brochure. The company shall not be liable
in respect of their non-availability or otherwise due to circumstances
beyond its control.
Bedding and seat cushions must not be used outside the accommodation.
Rubber sheets for children must be supplied by guests and entry
to the accommodation will be refused unless these are provided as
necessary. Towels are not included.
Dogs and other pets are not allowed in any of the self-catering
holiday accommodation.
Allocated parking areas are provided and should be used at all times.
Boats, etc. are liable to a small parking charge.
IF THE BALANCE OF HIRING IS NOT RECEIVED 56 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE
OF COMMENCEMENT OF YOUR HOLIDAY, WE WILL ASSUME THAT YOU NO LONGER
REQUIRE THE ACCOMMODATION, WHICH MAY THEN BE RE-LET. ANY MONIES
PAID BY YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
VAT is included @ 17.5%. Subject to adjustment in the event of a
governmental policy change.

CANCELLATIONS
Unless notice in writing of cancellation of reservation is received
by the management not less than 56 days prior to the commencement
of the reservation period, the applicants will be liable for the
full amount due in respect of the reservation. Notice of the cancellation
must be sent by Recorded Delivery. THE DEPOSIT FOR EACH WEEK BOOKED
IS NOT RETURNABLE. Please note that cancellation cover is strongly
recommended (please contact us for details).
GENERAL
These Rules, which are designed to benefit all bona fide guests,
set out general standards of conduct and behaviour expected of them.
ARRIVAL
On arrival guests and day visitors should register at reception.
If reception is closed, report to the warden. Camping/touring pitches
may not be available before midday at peak times. If campers/tourers arrive after 10pm, please pitch yourself quietly and with due consideration, and report to reception the next morning.
PAYMENT (CAMPING & TOURING)
At the time of booking, a deposit is to be paid of £30 per week per pitch or the full charge where the booking is for less than a week or your arrival date is within 28 days. Balance of payment is to be paid at least 28 days prior to arrival. Provisional bookings will be re-let if balance not received and no refund given. Any receipt of payment should be retained throughout the stay.
ADMISSION
Admission to the park implies a commitment to uphold the internal
rules of the park. Tents or caravans should be placed only as directed
by the management and may be transferred to other pitches, if the
management thinks it is necessary to maintain the condition of the
pitches.
The management is entitled to refuse admission when this appears
to be necessary in the interests of the park occupants.
Trading in the park is forbidden except when authorised in writing
by the management. No commercial vehicles are permitted to stay on the park.
CAMPING/TOURING PITCH
Keep the pitch tidy, with the minimum of equipment stored outside
and tidily placed. Only one tent/tourer/motorhome per pitch. Any
tent larger than one man must be erected on its own pitch and will
be charged for.
USE OF CARS (CAMPING & TOURING)
Cars may be driven only directly between the park entrance and the
pitch, and must never be driven above 5 m.p.h. within the park confines.
It is essential to avoid leaving the car engine running, or revving
unnecessarily and banging of car doors at night. Cars should be
parked as directed by the management, but in any event must not
encroach on neighbouring pitches.
SANITATION (CAMPING & TOURING)
Chemical toilets and wastewater containers must be emptied only
in the places provided for the purpose, or in accordance with the
instructions of the management.
REFUSE DISPOSAL
Refuse must be placed in the receptacles provided.
MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STAY
Please note maximum length of stay is 28 days.
LAUNDRY/WASHING UP
The washing of clothes and dishes is forbidden at taps that provide
drinking water. Washing lines must not be hung from trees or shrubs.
FIRES/BARBECUES
The lighting of fires is forbidden, but proprietary barbecues are
permitted, but must not be placed directly onto the ground.
DOGS & OTHER PETS
Dogs are not permitted in any of the buildings. Dogs must always
be kept on a leash and other pets must be kept under proper control.
They must not be allowed to foul the park and must strictly be exercised
off the park.
NOISE & NUISANCE
Musical instruments, audio equipment and similar appliances
should be used considerately during the day, and not after 10pm.
Between the hours of 10pm and 7am absolute quiet should be observed.
Children must be under the supervision of their parents or guardians
at all times.
GAMES
Any games, particularly ball games, which might annoy or inconvenience
others, are forbidden.
GENERAL BEHAVIOUR
Respect the park and amenities do not damage plants, trees
or grass do not dig holes for any purpose whatsoever
do not drop litter do not intrude on your neighbours
privacy or pitch.
DEPARTURE (CAMPING & TOURING)
You should leave the park by 11am at the latest. Ensure that the
pitch is left as you would wish to find it on arrival.
PARK MANAGEMENT
Accommodation on the park is provided on the condition that all
the rules and instructions given by the management are observed.
Any person in breach of these rules will be asked to leave the park.
ACCESS STATEMENT
Riverside Holidays welcomes and seeks to accommodate all types of disability where possible. When placing an enquiry with our park, staff make a point of ascertaining if any guest or party has particular disabilities in the most sensitive and courteous way possible and thereafter assess if we have the appropriate facilities to cater for that guest or party.
Our physical facilities for the disabled are listed as follows:-
SELF-CATERING HOLIDAYS
1 x 4 berth caravan with access ramp with full wheelchair access throughout including shower and toilet, 4 x 3ft single beds, two with lifting hooks, kitchen (all at low level).
CAMPING AND TOURING HOLIDAYS
One of the toilet and shower block facilities has wheelchair access.
OTHER FACILITIES
Our site is relatively level and easy to get around. Our Tourist Information Centre is also on the level as is our reception building. Other disabilities are catered for where possible and applicable. If the needs of the disability cannot be met then the guest is informed at the time of enquiry/booking and where possible an alternative recommendation is given. |
